Two-Page Editorial Spread

This project introduced the fundamentals of editorial design through the creation of a two-page magazine-style spread. Instead of working from assigned text, we developed our own written content, giving the project an extra layer of creative direction and allowing the typography and layout to be shaped by both design and storytelling.

With full control over the subject matter, I focused on crafting a layout that felt intentional, readable, and visually engaging. The assignment emphasized grid systems, typographic hierarchy, pacing, and the interplay between headline, body copy, and supporting elements. It was an exercise in how typography can structure information and set a tone that feels cohesive across multiple pages.
The final spread reflects a considered approach to editorial storytelling, using type, space, and composition to guide the reader, create rhythm, and bring the content to life in a magazine-ready format.
